Our though about that section is mostly due our deep concern to open the door to an important element of Guatemala, which is the ecotourism. While most of us have heard about ecotourism, few people have a clear understanding of what it actually is. As the name implies, ecotourism is tourism in a natural setting, but it has two other fundamental components: educating visitors about the natural history of the site being visited, and helping to preserve the site for future generations by using tourism revenue to assist local communities and for conservation projects.
