Los Tarrales is a piece of Atitlan Volcano being protected and conserved for the generations, since 1944.

Located in the South Coast on the slopes of Atitlan Volcano, in Patulul, Suchitepequez, on the way to Atitlan Lake. We are 125 km, and two hours from Guatemala City on an asphalt road. Panajachel is only one hour away.

The Finca located at 750 m of altitude, grown coffee and also diversified and other plantation as bananas, plantain bananas, papayas, coco, oranges, mangos, avocados, etc.

You can discover the different processes of production by observing or participate to the task. You have the possibility to discuss the way of living of the workers' farm and also how the farm stay in competition in the world market.

It's an ideal place for graduate students interesting to explore deeper the local and national problems relying on the agro-industrial industry.
